## GR0877 Problem 70

PROBLEM STATEMENT: This problem is still being typed.

SOLUTION: (A) According to Faraday’s law of induction $\displaystyle \frac{\Delta \Phi}{\Delta t} = -\mathcal{E}$. Substituting $\mathcal{E} = IR$, $\displaystyle I =\frac{\Delta q}{\Delta t}$ and $\Delta \Phi = B \Delta S$ one has $\displaystyle \Delta q = - \frac{B \Delta S}{R} = \frac{BS}{R} = \frac{0.5 \cdot 10 \cdot 10^{-4}}{5} = 10^{-4}$ (C).
